Elijah of Malachi 4

The Coming Elijah of Malachi 4

How does it relate to John the Baptist and the end time prophet who God calls Elijah the Prophet?

I explain this prophecy and show you how this coming prophet's work will be greater than John's!

Malachi 4:5-6
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children (John the Baptist),
And the hearts of the children to their fathers (End time Elijah),
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse (End time Elijah).”

The end time Elijah will restore all things.  He will turn the hearts of the children to their fathers. John was called to announce the Messiah's coming.  The end time prophet is called to restore all things and get the bride of Christ ready and beautiful for Jesus.  He must also prepare the world for the end.  When his mission is complete, Christ will come and get His bride.  Then the great tribulation starts and the two witnesses appear.

How will the end time prophet's work be greater than John's?
John turned the hearts of the fathers to the children.  But not everyone is a father.  The end time prophet will turn the hearts of the children to their fathers.  Now everyone is a child (that is they are someone's child).  Therefore, if someone receives the prophet's message then they will take the same message to their father.  If their father receives the message then he will share it with his father.  This domino effect causes the message to spread greatly.

Matt 17:10-12
“And His disciples asked Him, saying, ‘Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?’  Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things.'"
